The high building of approximately 280 m2 built on the side of a rock in 1700 perfectly reflects this taste for art and aesthetics. The main entrance is located in a shopping alley and as soon as you cross the threshold, you are seduced by the special atmosphere of this place steeped in history. Noble and old materials, soft colors of green, gray and terracotta, this Provencal building was superbly restored in 2017 by lovers of art and architecture: French ceilings, moldings and stucco, fireplaces, wooden floors, stone, terracotta or earthenware, old ornate doors… Each room has been carefully furnished for optimal comfort.
The house seems to wrap around the central staircase which serves on the ground floor a perfectly equipped and extraordinarily elegant kitchen, a convivial dining room then a living room whose bay windows open onto a large terrace with a unique view of the Luberon, and a cozy TV lounge with a stone fireplace and green terracotta tiles. A warm atmosphere reigns in each room, each proving very pleasant in summer and winter.
On the first floor, a dressing room on the landing, an office which can be transformed into a bedroom and a large and comfortable sleeping area: the bathroom is particularly original with its huge shower next to the free-standing bathtub, antique furniture and mirrors. Sublime.
The second floor provides access to a second bedroom, a bathroom with a Carrara marble shower corner and a huge room under the roof that can be used as a bedroom/dormitory and playroom for a host of children. , lounge-library....
